TecnoConverting Engineering is proud to announce that its product TecnoGrabber® has been awarded a Mention in the prestigious 2023 Ecodesign Awards in Catalonia. This recognition highlights TecnoConverting’s commitment to excellence in sustainability and ecological design.

The Ecodesign Awards gives credit to products and services designed, manufactured or executed in Catalonia that incorporate upgrades in order to diminish their environmental impact throughout their entire life cycle. The award especially values the incorporation of eco-design strategies, the contribution to the circular economy, the quality of design and innovation. The awards were presented at a ceremony held on September 28, 2023 in the auditori del Disseny Hub in Barcelona.

TecnoGrabber® is a drainage system installed in stormwater drains to prevent solid waste from entering rivers during heavy rain events. This product has been recognized for its notable contribution to the preservation of aquatic ecosystems and the promotion of sustainable practices in water management.

In the product category, TecnoGrabber® joined Rolser’s 8 Plus sustainable shopping cart, which is manufactured exclusively with recycled plastics, as one of the distinguished products in this edition.

As part of this distinction, TecnoGrabber® will be on traveling exhibition throughout Catalonia for the next two years, offering the community the opportunity to learn about and appreciate this innovative environmental preservation system.
